ABOUT US

Established in 2011, the Association of Independent Reggae Music (AIRM), is a non-profit in the making, professional trade and membership organization, committed to promoting, exposing, educating and honoring Independent reggae music industry professionals, (artists, bands, songwriters, producers, musicians, dj’s etc..), based throughout the Mid Atlantic, North East and South East states.

The Mid Atlantic, North East and South East divisions include the following states:
Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, Delaware, Baltimore Maryland; Connecticut, Philadelphia, Boston Massachusetts, Providence RI, Vermont; Virginia, Georgia, and Florida.

MISSION STATEMENT

To create platforms where independent reggae artists talents can be exposed to the mainstream public. Provide a unity of purpose for the Independent reggae music industry and most importantly to provide the financial resources needed to ensure the on-going charitable work of iReggaeCares, the charitable arm of AIRM.

PURPOSE
Our sole purpose is to make sure that our member indie (independent) reggae artists and member indie reggae industry professionals are promoted through the same music and media outlets as major label reggae artist and music industry professionals.

Although the word “independent” insinuates going it alone, AIRM believes it is time to band together so that reggae music listeners will have the opportunity to hear a variety of the talent that these artists music have to offer.
